Description

Song by David W Solomons for recorder, alto voice and guitar based on Gavin Ewart's poem a cup too low - see pdf for score and ogg or mp3 for live performance. (If either of these can't be seen, check All Files: HTTP to download)

Recorded in 1987 on Pentonville Road, performed by the composer with Tasse on recorder.

The guitar starts with a theme from Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, by way of parody. My favourite line : It looks bad.. but don't be fooled... it is bad.
